Roots Steel International Company Limited, KSA is proud to announce its acquisition of Ginco Steel LLC., established since 1975 and certified with ISO 9001:2000 for the design, manufacturing, sales and erection of structural steel. Likewise, Polyco Ltd. Company established in January 1982 with its main expertise in design, fabrication and erection of conveying systems for bulk material handling and manufacturer of Oil field cabins is also now under the group.

04/2011 Roots Steel System Egypt joined the Metal & Steel 2011 Exhibit held in Cairo, Egypt

Roots Steel System Egypt is one of the exhibitor at the Metal & Steel 2011 held at Cairo International Convention Center on 28th - 30th April 2011, dedicated to metal & steel industry in the Middle East and Northern African Region. The event aims to promote Middle East metal & steel industry across the world marketplace as well as encourage regional industrial development. Roots Steel system showcased an excellent range of technical solutions in metal building systems and engineered products to promote new business relations and business opportunities across the industrial market.

01/2011 Root Steel System Syria obtained the ISO 9001:2008 Certification

Roots Steel System Syria has successfully completed and passed the Quality Management Systems Audit on 26 & 27th Dec 2010 conducted by TUV-CERT Germany and is now certified as ISO 9001:2008 in the Pre-Engineered Building Steel Industry. With its aim to provide high quality products and services to the customers, builders and consultants.

12/2010 Roots Steel International Company Limited, Kingdom Saudi Arabia

Roots Steel International Company Limited was founded as the holding company to handle its subsidiaries under the group. Established to venture into the expansion of activities for both Pre- Engineered Building Steel and Steel Structures aiming to become major player in the steel industry. Along with its expansion, Roots Steel International Company Limited acquired a land situated in the industrial region of Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where the next Pre-engineered Steel Building factory and Steel Structure will be operational by beginning of 2013.

11/2010 Roots Steel System joined the Big 5 International Building & Construction Exhibition at the Dubai World Trade Center on 23rd - 26th November 2010

08/2010 Brand new manufacturing facility to be unveiled in Egypt

Constructed to cater the projects within Africa and other neighboring regions, a new Roots Steel System manufacturing facility is set to commence operations in Egypt on June 2011. The state-of-the-art plant will be equipped by the latest technologies and staffed by a group of highly-skilled manufacturing personnel to bring the highest quality PEB products and HRSS to the region.

07/2010 Roots Steel System forays into China

In partnership with ABS International Trading Co. Ltd., we have inaugurated our new office in Shanghai, China last May 12, 2010. Situated at the Far East International Plaza in Xianxia Road, Shanghai, the facility caters to the demand for structural steel structures and project management needs in the local area and provides additional supply to address the demand in the Middle East region.
